About the Fridge & Pantry

The Mt. Airy Community Fridge & Pantry aims to reduce food and hygiene insecurity, mitigate food waste, and offer necessities via a community-powered and unifying food and goods-share, accessible to anyone and everyone free of charge and without the barriers of registration or income verification.

Graciously hosted by the Unitarian Universalists of Mt. Airy, the Mount Airy Community Fridge & Pantry offers a dry goods pantry filled with shelf-stable foods, menstrual and sexual health products, diapers, and baby food free to take by anyone who needs them. A refrigerator and freezer is also onsite, offering perishable goods, homemade meals, and frozen dinners.

These resources are open to the public 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. All are welcome. No need for income or residency verification. While we do what we can to stock the pantry ourselves, alongside the support of our partners, we look to involvement from the community to keep our neighborhood thriving!

Put simply: take what you need, and leave what you can. You can find us at 6900 Stenton Ave.
