Community Partners
Community partners live, work, and operate in our neighborhoods, and have a vested interest in the health and success of the people who make our communities special. They understand that food and hygiene is a human right, and that it takes every one of us to sustain the quality of life every person deserves.
The Mt. Airy Community Fridge & Pantry is so grateful for the love, compassion, and support of our community partners! If you are interested in joining us, please reach out here.

Northwest Mutual Aid Collective, Inc
Northwest Mutual Aid Collective, Inc combats food insecurity and food waste one day at a time for the Northwest Philadelphia community. They offer personally crafted bags for home visits and boxes/crates of nutritious and delicious food to pantries like us, shelters, and community initiatives. We are forever grateful for their assistance in getting us off the ground with a donation our first fridge. They continue to mentor and guide us to be better, holding us leaders accountable to the work, community, and ourselves.

Share Food Program
Share Food Program leads the fight against food insecurity in the Philadelphia region, by serving an expansive, quality partner network of community-based organizations and school districts engaged in food distribution, education and advocacy. They distribute millions of pounds of food to hundreds of thousands of neighbors in need – making them the leading hunger relief organization in our region. The Mt. Airy Community Fridge & Pantry is honored to be one of the organizations who will receive surplus donations from this organization.
Jackie's Garden
We receive love weekly from the community center in the Jackie's Garden (Montgomery Townhouses). They support of with fresh and healthy produce, dairy, meat, and shelf stable food items (including infant formula, rice, and canned goods). Their community center organizer always checks in if they haven't seen us for our weekly pickup. We remain grateful for the community extended to us.
Community Food Program
This wonderful organization has taken up the challenge to fight food insecurity, with a faith based angle. They recognize the great need and provide us with desperately needed shelf stable food items. Their partnership has allowed us to provide cans of food and meat, cereals and grains, and hygiene products. Our patrons love the handcrafted paper bags that feature a motivational note from children and the peanut butter that is a special treat for dogs.

Double Trellis
Our community loves the meals that come from the kitchen. Headed up by a culinary industry professional, the restaurant quality meals always bring a delightful surprise to our taste buds. These are especially helpful to working adults too tired to make a meal (we all can understand that!), people without a kitchen or necessary cooking appliances, or those not sure how to cook certain items found in our fridge.

Mt. Airy Community Fridge & Pantry BBQ
Led by members of Unitarian Universalist of Mt. Airy, we provided our community with a fun and tasty bbq to raise money and spirits. We are grateful to the families and organizations that provided large donations to our cause.
Clover Montessori & The Giving Tree
Our neighborhood schools are so important to what we do. We have students drop by after school each day and teachers that grab items for their classrooms.
We have the pleasure of speaking to the Clover preschool class each year. They hear about who we are, why the work of food recovery and goods sharing in the community is so important, and what we need for donations. It is always fun to see the preschoolers making their way
The Giving Tree school provides packed bags with lovely drawings from its students. They provide us multiple boxes of premade goodie bags that are loved by our community.

Our Annual Diaper Drive
Each year we host a diaper drive. We collect diapers, wipes, baby food, formula, and other hygiene necessities for babies and toddlers. The response we receive each time is enormous from both donors and patrons. We are truly grateful to our community for showing love to the little ones and those that take care of them.
